| Working Principle |
1. Mechanical to Hydraulic Energy Conversion: The engine drives the pump’s input shaft, rotating the cylinder block (housing pistons) against a stationary valve plate. |
| 2. Piston Stroke & Fluid Displacement: Pistons reciprocate in the cylinder block as the swashplate angle forces them to move in/out – drawing oil into the pump (suction stroke) and expelling pressurized oil (discharge stroke). |
| 3. Load-Sensing Control: A pressure sensor detects hydraulic system demand; the pump’s control valve adjusts the swashplate angle to increase/decrease displacement (flow rate) – delivering only the flow/pressure needed for the current task (e.g., low flow for slow arm movement, high flow for fast digging). |
| 4. Pressure Regulation: The integrated relief valve opens if system pressure exceeds the peak limit, diverting excess oil back to the reservoir to prevent pump/machine damage. |
